Hi I am Jiro and I joined 10 days ago.
I founded the Federation of independent planets because I wanted to be in an alliance in which the members cooperated and responed to messages. The other alliances did not look very inviting and I was unable to see what their viewpoints were.

Why didn't they look inviting? Anyway, welcome.

Mostly because I would need to apply, sometimes with a motivation to be posted on a seperate blog, a bit like a job application.
Also, I could not really get a taste of what the other alliance members would be like and what the alliance would expect from me and what I could expect from the alliance. And sometimes the name just put me off.
It might have been different if every alliance had a short description of what they are like and whether they welcome new members.

Maybe you should stick with your alliance and make it grow.

It would be great to have more alliances blossomming up.

I am going to stick by my alliance, just wanted to explain why I setup my own in stead of joining an existing one. I re-read my first post and decided it might be taken the wrong way.
