Hello

Post by Alex on Sat Oct 24, 2009 6:00 am

Hello,

I am a new player, joined [21 Oct 2009] 02:08 and am having alot of fun in this game so far.

I just changed my name to Alex from TheSmiter12, TheSmiter12 is what I am called in StarGateWars, Alex is my real name, and I just assumed Alex would already have been taken but apparently it hasn't been!

I was invited into this game by another SGW player who has recently just started an alliance here.

Although I'm not sure how active I will be here on the forums I can almost garantee I will be VERY active ingame. You can always contact me via ingame PM's if you need to.

Cheers,
Alex

I repeat what slambot#4 says, but change the "first" part to "second".

Welcome mate!

Even though some things are similiar in all MMORPG games, aderan wars has some unique features, which make the game work a little bit different from other games.

Yeah, dont think covert and anticovert work the same here, they do not. You better learn this quickly.

As for Admin, he is the greatest asset this game has. Its why so many EX-SGW players come here. Having an active admin is 10 times more important then having the perfect game.

Yeah I had built a moderate covert but had left Assassins almost completely then found out they actually did stuff!

Yes and no.

Yes there can be a perfect game for 1 person, or one group of like minded people.

No there is nothing in the world that's perfect, and will never be anything truely perfect that has been touched or created by man.

Might not be perfect but this games pretty good.

Just wondering what you guys think about my progress so far, if you have any tips on where I can be doing better or whatever...

I joined the 21st so its been 5 days and here is where I'm at:

22,551 Army Size
2,620 / Day UP

And to get that I've used:
Kuwal Stolen (-) 4,629,433,689
Attack Turns Used (1) 2,270

Which averages to: 20,393,981 Kuwal per 10turn hit...
Is that any good, should I be doing better per hit? I try to get just the Zero Def farms, but I've been hitting for quantity of farms not quality of farms (i.e. not waiting for the few 30m-40m+ hits but going for all the 22m+ hits)

Is that an ok stratergy? What are your thoughts?

Also I obviously havn't used all thet Kuwal on UP but I am using all of my Kuwal farmed from now on it.

Hi Alex,

Farming defenceless 20M farms seems OK to me. The higher amounts are usually defended and I don't know how much you want to spend on being able to break though their defence.
If you want a quick boost in UP, you can sell UU for Kuwal and invest it in UP. I have not looked at the numbers very closely, but I think this is efficient until 4K UP at least. The higher UP will help you grow faster, especially if you find yourself a good CO, in which case it will bring a good income as well.
At some point you will need to invest resources into a defence in order to make it inefficient to farm the Kuwal you are generating between logins. Your big friend here is weapon repair costs: if the attacker has 5000 APC (level 9), attacking someone who has a defence of say 1M will cost him/her 12M Kuwal. Add to that the 10M cost of 10AT + 2ST, you are safe from a medium sized player up until 30M Kuwal.
Also, with a UP like yours, you'll need additional training facilities as well in order to be able to keep up with your unit production, but you probably have them already.
