I wonder if it`s working properly ....I mean I got a medal for achieving the largest covert action at the end of a month but I definately know my covert wasn`t rank 1,so how is it possible that I received a medal????it`s not like I really care about these medals though

Probably he counted how many turns each player spent in rank 1 position .... it's certainlly fairer this way.

you may have recieved the medal as the person who did have rank 1 covert last time will be exempt from recieving it again, thus if you had rank 2 covert you will have recieved the reward

iuf your covert was rank 20 or so, then send a message to admin as it woul dbe a bit strange.

and fyi lets imagine a situation where rank 1 has best medal, and rank 2,3 and 4 have none
in that case rank 2 will get the best medal, rank 3 gets the second best and rank 4 gets the third best

the guy with rank 1 will obviously keep his.
You can only get a new better medal and you never loose it. If you'd be eligible to get the level which you already have then the next person that's ranked after you will get it instead

So, does this mean that over time more and more players will get these medals? As in, after maybe a few months if the top 10 players have the best medal for one stat then the 11th best player with the same stat will get the best medal. Or is there a certain rank limit to getting these medals?

no rank limit, so on an infinite timescale even people with rank 100k could theoretically get the medal.

however considering people leaving and coming or people not always having rank 1 stat even after receiving a medal i still expect generally in the future only people in top 5-10 ranks having a chance of actually getting them.

I see then, that makes sense, but I'm not sure if that theory will work as there would probably be a bigger chance that top players will stay and players joining may take fairly long getting top stat actions, but I'm not entirely sure, I guess we should just wait and see.

ugh, from what I'm understanding, even at rank 77 (and climbing), I won't ever see a medal? Others grow and keep growing just as I do, but if only the people int he top 5-10 ranks have a chance of actually getting them, what would be the point? It's doubtful the ones in the top 10-20 are going to leave, it'd be more likely that the ones ranked 50+ are going to lose interest because as someone else said about the "average army size" -- what would be the point? What's the incentive when those in the top 5-10 ranks are going to be getting the medals?

and if they wouldn't then eventually you'd have people ranked 20-30 getting the medals which is how the system is designed to work.
