rude/disrepectful comments

Admin, what shall we do with things that get sent to us that are a bit rude, and foul?

Thats the usual signs. I just insta delete from that point on, IDK if we have black list features here yet.

well a good idea would be to ignore them, other than that I'll (and i already did a while ago) consider adding maybe some blocking system.

I'll definitely not bother with filtering messages,
1) it's way much easier and effective to punish those who send abusive pm's
2) hella easy to avoid the checks, using signs or numbers instead of letters to still get the correct word across, etc.

Plus server load doesn't have to get wasted on this

I agree, just black list them and move on.

Is a blocking system actually needed when you could just use the delete button? We aren't all papermache weak in the psychic armor dept are we?

Well like in some previous thread, i'll pull out my argument from before again.

There's gonna be a parent, who'll see that their 8 year old kid got a really nasty message. Instead of being a non slimy (yeh i bet you thought this was some major swearword cos of the blankout) person and teach their kid how to handle this kind of people when they encounter them (because they will encounter them again), they will pretend that "protecting" their kid has any effect on the kids development and will try to forbid playing this game because they dont want their kid to be "abused" by insulting pm's sent by other people, causing their kid to keep playing and commit suicide due to lack of self confidence created by these insults. Those parents will then try to bring me to court as the true evil mastermind responsible for their kids death demanding money.

Sure I could bring the argument of darwin rightfully cleansing the genetic pool through natural selection, but then again I'm a greedy capitalist in this game and want many players so that they spend money which I turn into profitsssssss and then take over the REAL WORLD.

And maybe a bad language filter (OPTIONAL) and a blacklist, maybe even a whitelist system, so their precious darlin's aren't exposed to...anything.

I can't say I mind those ideas, provided I get to turn them off so I can read all the lovely abuse.

I say we suspend the account for 3 days if the message has some racist remarks or insulting.
If it happens again, that player wont be able to post anything anymore until half a year passes.
