Popularity Medal - Voting for oneself
Players should not be able to vote for themselves. it is OBVIOUS!!!
Because if you can vote for yourself you increase the chances that egoists who vote for themselves will win over those who vote for others out of fairness.
if you vote for yourself you should get an error message that you have to vote again because you cant vote for yourself
PS: Would be also good that once you vote, the option to vote will turn off until the 1st of next month when you can vote again.

Re: Popularity Medal - Voting for oneself
Nonsense.
If you vote for yourself, doesn't mean others will.
And if we're that childish as a collective that almost all of us have 1 vote (our own) except for a few people with 2 votes (because other people felt obliged not to vote for themselves).. meh, not worth it.
Seriously, it's just a medal. If you want to vote for yourself, vote for yourself. It is not as "obvious" as you make it sound.. and DEFINITELY not for that laughable reason.

We'll have to see. I think it is far more likely that most votes will be cast inside an alliance than that people vote for themselves. I don't think people will vote for themselves.
Think positive, happy thoughts. Assume that the voters here are more mature than supermarket cheddar. It will work out.

Re: Popularity Medal - Voting for oneself
Its only 1 vote? I mean come on?
And, its very possible that people vote for those they interact with, alliance mates or not. There are CO's, and Officers. Not to mention these forums. I bet there was atleast 1 vote cast based on something from these forums.
As stated, its just a shiney object.
