ian has been known too put a thousand people to sleep with but only 1 long essay post, on the importance of grammar. However it was more about the lack of grammar on forums. I'm not too sure to be honest i only read the first few words ( the infamous ) 'It has come to my attention that ...'

alas i digress, it would appear Jodie that your problem is unique to you. When i used to use Firefox, it used to randomly refuse to load certain pages, but i now use Opera. If reconnecting the router, or rebooting the computer has not worked, then i suggest trying either to access the game on another platform or network, or run your Antivirus and Spyware checks. It may be a temporary thing and leaving it alone for 30 mins may let it calm down.

Managed to log on this morning no issues ! Thanks admin or thanks to the magical interweb faeries.

I haven't been able to connect to the game server at all for a while....
Update: All it took to fix was to post to the forum. Within minutes it was back up. Disregard.

i should just point out that in no way did posting on this forum solve the problem that you were experiencing. it is likely that the site was down for a few seconds, in which the period you tried to login.

if in doubt always do the following:

Reload the page ( default is F5 )
Clear the cache and browsing history
Restart the browser ( completely close the browser not just the site )
Try an alternative browser
Restart the computer

if the following does not work, then there is either a problem with the server, which is out of Admin's control, or Admin is updating the game code or summat.

Thanks and understood. I just meant that I just had to be impatient enough with trying to connect to the server to break down and post it in the forum for the problem to fix itself. I tried connecting via several different means before actually posting. I guess I just hit a brief outage at just the wrong time. Anyhow, I figured that the site not resolving/timing out would be an issue with hosting -- and assumed that the Admin would be the right person to contact hosting in case of an extended outage.

I totally agree with your troubleshooting suggestions. Restarting your computer is probably overkill... and I resist making an OS-ist comment here.
